Love your vids. Be honest do you think Microsoft could put a lot of these exams into one or two instead of the multiples they do?

I'm conflicted on this. To be honest, they already have been doing this big time. They Combined MS-200 and MS-201 into a single exam, MS-203. Now (as of Dec 2023) they have gotten rid of MS-203 altogether and there is no Microsoft Messenger/Exchange certification at all. A lot of people are very angry about that. They combined MD-100 and MD-101 and made one exam, the MD-102. They combined MS-100 and MS-101 and made one exam, the MS-102. They condensed their security certs into SC-100-400 and got rid of the older MS-500. The reason I feel conflicted is because for someone studying for a single exam, you now have to study WAY more information than before. It's cheaper if you pass the first time though, so I guess we should be thankful for that, but the exams were hard enough before. However, now there is even more information people have to know in order to pass them. Fun times I guess..

Not really. You can go whichever path you prefer. MD-102 is a good one to start with. Then you would probably want to go with MS-102. Once you've gotten all the MS356 certs you want, you can just over to the Azure side. It all compliments each other.

What would you consider the time (review and study time) for these exams? (each) I was working on your MD-102 course on Udemy, but with the change, I decide to wait, working on Cloud Essentials. expect to take end of November.

It depends on how much time you can spend each day. If you had an entire week off and could dedicate the entire week to studying, you could knock out any one of these exams in a week if you worked hard at it. Take the course, review a good practice exam and then take the real exam.

Oh man, I didn't realize that you are supposed to take the MD102 prior to MS102. I sat for MS102 this past Saturday, sadly got a 667 and failed. Should I retake MS-102 in the upcoming weeks or sit for MD102 then go back to MS102?

Ideally you would have the MD102 training before attempting MS102. As for what you should do, you are already so close to passing, I would suggest doing some more studying, perhaps another practice exam and go for the test again. Look like you missed it by maybe two questions.

You can do MD-102 to meet the pre-requisite requirements for taking MS-102. Once you pass MD-102, you can then take MS-102 and get the cert
