hello what do you mean with up/down arrows?

Is there any example like that for trills and multiphonics simultaneously for Clarinet in Bb?

hello! Excellent video! I am new to multiphonics what does the half-filled circle and the crossed-out circle mean?
@flutecolors57272 жыл бұрын
Thank you Oscar! The half-filled circle means that the flute players has to half-close the key (only the ring). This is only possible on flutes with open holes. The crossed-out circle indicates the key that should be used to play the trill.

Great video, thank you! I also have a question about trilled multiphonics. I realized that many of the harmonics you play share the same fundamental. But can we assume that two multiphonics are trillable if they are based on neighbouring notes? Let's say there are two multiphonics, the fundamental of the first one is E and the other fundamental is F. Or C# and D#. Can I assume that those are trillable regardless of the multiphonics? Do they have to share the same fundamental or only some multiphonics are can be trilled?

I think the fingering is most important. If it is possible to alternate the fingerings it should be possible to play the trill. If the fundamentals are neighbouring notes the changes you can trill are higher. Some fingerings are quite complex and that can make it harder to trill. If you want me to try combinations please contact me via www.flutecolors.com

Fantastic! What was your resource for creating the fingering chart? I'm trying to incorporate a few of these into a score, but am having trouble figuring out how to create it in Sibelius.

Thank You! If you send me an e-mail I can send you the files I used. I created them myself with Inkscape and then uploaded them in Sibelius. You can send your mail to info@rogierdepijper.nl
