Old school monster truck, Excaliber, testing out the flotation tires at a quarry. It does float... kinda. Part 2 of 3.

To see if it floats. A lot of monster trucks do, because the tires are less dense than water. They used to even have races across lakes, back in the 80's.

This truck kicks ass. First, because its a long bed style pick up. A lot of the old school trucks were short beds for whatever reason. I miss the old school trucks too, with all of the chrome. It sucks that the truck dunked, but the tires and wheel base was way too narrow for boating. I am guessing the computer software never factored in water sports. X -D Anyways the hair stood on my neck when it dunked. Great vid, but my heart was left broken in the end. Lol

@@OSDCrusher because of two things, having a wide enough wheelbase so it doesnt roll on its side, and also how the rear is lighter than the front because the engine and everything adds weight to the nose. The first time he goes in, he doesnt float because he goes front first and the engine weighs it down. The back is light as hell, so he backs in instead, and the rear floats, but once he comes off the ledge, 1 the front sinks, and 2 because of the narrow truck, he rolls to the side. Thats mathematics for you, "idiot"
