@Mauricio93201 He founded PWG, basically the NXT of indie wrestling. Where a lot of talent became popular and scouted to go to WWE, same with ROH, ppl like Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Adam cole, Daniel bryan, Ricochet, would've never been recognised and scouted to NXT if it wasn't for that wrestling company.
@SavantGardeEX4 жыл бұрын
@Mauricio93201 Seth rollins (Tyler black) was a PWG champion back in 2007, Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli) was once PWG champion, before losing it to kevin steen (Owens). Btw 2 months after he lost the championship, Cesaro signed to WWE lmao. Daniel bryan was literally a main stay superstar of PWG from 2003-2009 until he had to vacate his title to join WWE and even has an emotional goodbye ceremony towards PWG you can find on youtube, but PWG produced nobody? lmao. (Btw the title was won by Kenny Omega). Sami Zayn is another who has wrestled over 100 matches for PWG, clocking up over 120 during his nine years with the company. Wrestling as El Generico, Sami made his First American Indie Pro wrestling debut in 2004 (He wrestled first in a local canadian promotion). Which helped him get noticed in PWG, which later made him get noticed by ROH, and just like daniel, he was there for 9 years, up until 2013, where he and kevin had their last PWG match against... The Young Bucks lmao. Kevin steen (Owens), the man who till this day has the most PWG championship reigns in their history. Steen was a three-time PWG World Champion, defeating AJ Styles, Claudio Castagnoli and El Generico (Sami zayn of course). His final run proved the most successful. Steen held the title for 259 days before losing to Adam Cole (Lmao) at Mystery Vortex in 2012. Btw speaking of adam cole, he was with the elite and the bullet club (Young bucks, Kenny Omega, Cody,). After he got kicked out of the bullet club in NJPW (In kayfabe obviously). He had his final match before joining WWE where? That's right PWG lmao. Keith lee also had his last PWG match a day after he joined NXT, because he was still PWG champion and he had to lose it. I love how you wwe marks love to talk shit about indie wrestling, when all your top stars came from it lmao. Matter of fact dave meltzer gave one of keith lee's matches 5 stars during PWG. Where he also got popular from dumbass. A few weeks before he got signed.
@SavantGardeEX4 жыл бұрын
@Mauricio93201 Ricochet also performed in 2010-18 for PWG until he got signed, they didn't produce anything btw lmao.

As someone who watches the international feed of AEW, I can tell you the commentators don't always seem to remember some of the audience is listening during ad breaks.
