Nice information. I think many underpass in India lacks this. Recently there was a loss of life in Bengaluru because of flooding in underpass.

so de-silting is the only maintenance required for this system to work and traffic don't get stuck during and after rain. DFCCIL has constructed two such RUBs near Zeta-2, Greater NOIDA and even before monsoons this drainage system is proving useless.
