+aries migu Thanks for the suggestion. I will be posting Power BI Desktop related posts and videos soon. Do follow my blog at efficiency365.com. As of today, there is no export option for moving data from an Excel based Power BI data model to Power BI desktop tool.

Hi Aires Migu The new Power BI Desktop version allows direct import of Data Models from Excel (along with relationships, queries and even Power View dashboards). Just go to File - Import - Choose the Excel file and follow instructions.
