CAUTION!!! LOW FUEL indication has nothing to do with the 228kg fuel quantity, turning grey, indication!!! FUEL LOW CAS caption comes up at 92kg of fuel per tank!!! 228kg is the remaining fuel in each tank at the connection flange level, where fuel splits in two! If you wait to close Xfeed valve until you get LOW FUEL CAS message, then it will be to late, because by that time you will already have 136 kg of unusable fuel (228-92=136)!!!

Hi Yiannos, Thanks for you comment. The low fuel captions in the presentation only come on when there's approx 92kg remaining in the respective fuel tank so I'm not to sure what you are trying to highlight here. Everything else you mention above seems correct (i haven't been flying the 139 for a while so I'm a little rusty) and is what is represented in the presentation. Am I missing something?

Hi. The overall presentation seems just fine! The only thing that doesn't sound right is that around 2:40' it says that the fuel low comes on at 228kg of fuel remaining and around 3:20' it says that when fuel low, Xfeed has to be turned off!!! I just wanted to make clear that 228kg is not the fuel low. It's the fuel quantity at the connection flange level where the two tanks are separated!!! And the QRH note says that when fuel gets down to 228kg and one boost pumb is inoperative, then the 228kg will turn grey and it is at this point that you have to turn Xfeed valve to close position and not at Fuel Low!!! Fuel Low comes up at 92kg per tank!!! I hope this makes more sense....!

Yiannos, I think that there is a confusion about the button that he uses to reduce the fuel on the presentations which is LOW FUEL ( Button ) with the 1-2 FUEL LOW ( Real ) situation. On 4:03 it shows the moment when 1-2 FUEL LOW CAS will appear which is 92 kg. Pressing the LOW FUEL button he is able to reduce the quantities of fuel on the presentation/program from Normal to 228 and then to 92 Kg. Am I right Marcus?

Is it true, if the 139 reaches a certain gross weight then the maitence doubles?

What do you mean?
@c.gauthier60253 ай бұрын
@humanfactor750 If I remember correctly, operating near max gross, the maintenance on the mgb doubled, and thus increased hourly costs significantly.
