Love your videos. I see what you mean about it taking a while to understand absolute vs. relative cell references. I am working my way through the Excel Basics series. I began with #1 and watch a new one every day. To help better understand cell references, I rewatch #s 8,9 and 10 daily before adding a new one to the mix. It is helping. Hopefully it won't take months. Thanks for helping

Hello Mike...i always open a worksheet in excel and practice along. But 2day i "discovered" something new that i used 4 the first time. I copied the 4 values from the horizontal "Assumption Table" & used Paste Special -> Values -> Transpose for the vertical "Assumption Table" It worked perfectly. ( I use a Mac) Many thanks 4 sharing.

Unfortunately, this time I had some difficulties about applying the things explained. I changed my computer and I installed excel again, but now I can't use the alt equals function. (alt+shift+4) What can be the reason of it?

I have a question, is there a way to prepare a spreadsheet when you get the information vertical, like this Jan Feb Mar But you need it orizontal?What is the easiest way to change it? is there a formula that can help me to relocate or change from vertical to orizontal? Do you have a video lesson that shows how to make a cell label un-sortable? For example I want to create a excel sheet of my contacts, I'd like the labels Fname, Lname, Address ETC not to be sorted when I highlight the entire spreadsheet and have it sort by a certain column
