Great video!! really helpful! Is there a way to allow data input in a table as well? I have a table with some inputs and some formulas that I want to block, but If i follow your procedure, the table doesnt add lines automatically?

I guess the best option would be to lock the table, so that a user cannot see the formula but in the same time do not lock the editing :)

If each tab is different, then yes. If the tabs all have the same structure, simply group the tabs and do the setting in a single tab 😊

Is there a way to lock only the ability to format cell, specially background color, font, font size and borders? So if I paste something into cells (ctr+v) it would paste contents but without changing format? I always paste special > formulas/values but most people do not and they keep ruining the beautiful spreadsheets I make! I'm tired of that!!

Not sure how you mean that. That sounds like something for a text box or a comment

This can be easily bypassed if you copy/paste another cell, defeating the whole purpose of locking.

I did not check what happens when using the copy/paste function. But it would be weird if Excel would not cover such a case.

@@LeonRenner well, it doesn't... If you paste cells as values, it's ok, so some protection is given; but if you paste normally (ctr+V) the cells are overwritten together with formatting. Point is that you still need cooperation from the users who will fill your excel sheet, to use paste as values, you can't rely solely on the sheet protection.
