Learn about how to check whether or not an item in is a list using the MATCH Function. Learn three different formula that may work for your situation:
1. (00:11) Introduction
2. (00:53) Excel New Windows & Arrange All features to show different sheets in same workbook on screen at same time.
3. (02:54) Formula #1 to check whether item is in a list using MATCH and ISNUMBER functions.
4. (06:14) Formula #2 to check whether item is NOT in a list using MATCH and ISNA functions.
5. (07:13) Formula #3 to check whether item is in a list using IF and MATCH and ISNUMBER functions. This formula puts the text “Found” or “Not Found” in cell.

I am SO excited to learn of opening a second instance of the same file in order to view two worksheets in the same workbook on the same screen. Until this, I've opened a second instance of the Excel application, but that comes with its own set of issues and is awkward in the extreme. this is really great material! thanks! I wonder if it works when I have a list of names. let's say I have my list of guests and whenever a person comes I write their name and it does the same thing, but possibly even with partial matches, like if I only put the name and not the surname, or if there is a spelling mistake

Is there any solution to type in excel as easy as a word document when USing forms. I wanna write my reports on excel subsequently and at the end, ı am going to see every part of the same type reports at the same time. It gives me some advantages in excel. F.Ex. filtering by type of people, ages, education. also ı will be able to tag every person and so on. For doing that, ı learn to make userforms for entering data. and I made a simple userform. And determine every range for a special topic.Say it, when a applicant wanna type about his name, surname and date of birth. he will type it by using user form and then..hhoopp..it goes on the right place. But there is a big PROBLEM. When a person wanna type a long, A very very long story about her life.and trying to do that. It will be, very unuseful. bECAUSE in userforms we type a long sentence, we couldnt see all the paragraph together. WE just see a line sentence. And when u try to back on the beginning of the sentence, it is awful. u would be my hero when u give me a right direction.
