Looks like they are coming back in stock on 20/11. Failing to see why you would buy the evolution over this for another £200- can’t see what that extra £200 is buying you! Thanks again for the video. I do want to buy this but I can’t get out of my mind that the evolution must be better because it’s so much more. Sliding table is a novelty I’d say!

I have one of these, and it's greaat for the price. One problem though... the blade height doesn't lock, and in use, it gradually lowers. I currently have a loop of string around the adjusting wheel handle, which stops it unwinding. Solves it, but a far from perfect solution. Any thoughts?

That's a strange one, that doesn't happen with mine, maybe contact the manufacturer and see what they say.

@@CALtheSPAR Thanks Cal :-) I've already contacted the main retailer, ToolsForTrade, as the Excel website seems to still be under construction. I'll see what they say, and if it's relevant, I'll update here. Meanwhile, the string will do. Great vids BTW... well done 👏👏👏
