Hi Chris.. thanks for the video on using the Sort Dialog or what I like to call Advanced Sort (sister of Advanced Filter). It was a great reminder that you can also sort columns which most people do by hand or even with VBA, not realizing how easily it can be done with Advanced Sort. It's too bad that the column sort does not carry the column widths into the new sort order. Also, you might want to mention for those people new to data manipulation that sorting actually permanently changes the order of the rows or columns on your worksheet. So, if there is a need to keep an original order, a key column or row can be added preserving the original numeric order of the rows or columns. Of course, you can undo to a certain point to get back to original or save the workbook before sorting or do the sort on a copy of the worksheet vs. the original data. But, those options require the forethought of preparation. Most sorting disasters occur when the user, usually more casual users of EXCEL, don't realize that they can't get back to original order without some pre-planning. I remember the first time it happened to me.. lesson learned.. haha!! Thanks again for all of your great videos and courses.. all top notch.. entertaining and informative. Thumbs up!

That's a great point Wayne, and something that many users don't realize. Adding an index column to preserve your original sort order would be a great tip -- maybe I'll add it as a new video to the course!
