Excel Pro Trick: Combine ALL Worksheets into ONE with

Most often data is scattered in several Excel worksheets and to process the data, the daunting task is to first combine all the data in worksheets into one.
Excel users had several workarounds to get this done, however, it was still painfully slow or complex at best. However, with the introduction of Excel Power Query, this is not the case anymore.

Excel goes to over 1 million rows. If you somehow have tables that big use Access and append the tabs into the the table, just make sure the fields types and headers match for the import.

Which version you are using ?! Make sure you have written properly. Because it too happened with me as i have written all in lower case. =Excel.CurrentWorkbook()

Power Query is case sensitive so that’s no doubt the problem. Just make sure the headers are the same on each table. Also, Power Query will probably transform some columns into field types that don’t support leading zeros so if you have a column that has leading zeros like zip codes from the North East or overseas phone numbers, you can change the field type in the editor to Text and the leading zeros will return.
