Hi Kevin, seek your guidance for the following: how to add or deduct a value in a cell basing on the sign of outcome of subtracting value from previous two cells. Here is an example: A - B = C where A and B are independent positive variables. However, the outcome in Cell C could be positive or negative basing on the values of A and B. Next Step is - C + or - D = E, where C could be a +ve or -ve number. & D is a +ve number. If C is +ve, value in D is to be deducted else value in C is to be added to value to D, which will be populated in Cell E. Request you to guide how to write a single line command in excel

Hi what do i do if i want to add ie £14.22 to a column ie a daily charge to be added to a previous day so over a couple of months it adds so i don't have to use a calculator for each day for example £424.92 + £14.22 = £439.14 + £14.22 = £453.36 and so on
