I will be playing an Ironman challenge run of Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright on Lunatic Difficulty.
To spice things up, I will allow some DLC as long as I'm not using it to grind resources. I'm thinking along the lines of recruiting Anna or maybe even some class changing items.
The KMU (Kill my Unit) Bounty is a variation of the more common PMU (Pick my Unit) challenge run, where outside parties pick the units that the player uses. Instead, here, there will be periodic votes, randomized picks, and donations to decide which units I will not use, more specifically, by killing the unit. These deaths will last for the duration of that particular attempt. I'll try to refine and codify the ruleset according to viewer feedback, this is very much experimental as of now.
In Ironman runs, I am not allowed to reset the game, use savepoints, or save states. Each action or occurrence is as a result, permanent. Any characters that die will remain dead for the rest of the run, and if I lose the game, the run is over. If I fail the run and need to restart, I will begin at the Branch of Fate, meaning I will not need to replay chapters 1-6. Characters that died or were voted off will no longer be dead if this happens.
If there is any excess donation on that character, or the character did not actually die because they were not yet recruited, this will carry over to the next run.

So arc 1 of Fire Excelblem was to kill all units for generics and turn Marth into a bloodthirsty tyrant, and arc 2 was to utilize a newfound cult established on a lust for assassination to gain profit from, and Corrin became the descendant of Marth and Anna. I can only imagine what arc 3 has in store.

@@d.altounian244 the Reason for fate's sloppy story, is because the writers where trying to achieve too much with not enough time. Intelligents Systems had an idea for Fate to have three stories to appeal to everyone, but they realized that they didn't have enough writers. So they hired an outside writer, Shin Kibayashi was that writer. Intelligent Systems wanted Shin to write the outline for each pathway, what happened instead is that Shin wrote 500 pages for each pathway. Nintendo knew this was too long so they cut the story into pieces without the writers permission and the fact the Nintendo demanded Fates come on the Fire Emblem Anniversary only made things worse. Which resulted in this hilariously mess of a story. The good news this that there is a manga based on Fates that is a little better. Its called Fire Emblem If: the Crown of Niberlung.

It's made even worse by the fact that, aside from her death making no sense, Rev arbitrarily kills off one of the precious few prepromotes after showering you with garbage units for the last 6 chapters. I just downloaded the mod that makes her survive, because there's only so much bad design one can put up with.
