This works for only the table section, but it doesnt show up when i try to make a graph using the pivot table, I have seen many videos but no one show the way too show text in the graph too.

What kind of graph or chart are you looking to show? The results are text so they can't be shown on a chart

How do you add the data to the data module if you already created the pivot table? I didn't check off the "Add this data to the Data Module" when I created the pivot table.

1. View the queries pane from the data tab on the ribbon. 2. Right click on the query that you need to load to the data model and select load to. Select only create a connection and check the Add data to the data model Checkbox

@@ExcelBonanzaThank you! I did as you said but that didn't add the table name to the top of the list in the Pivot Table Fields. As in your video at the 2:31 min mark I am unable to right click on the Pivot Table name and select "Add Measure". The table name is not there.

Just select "All" instead of "Active" and you should find the table there

@@NealHartsChannel Go to the first second of the video 0:01 Under the Pivot table fields title, you will see two buttons, "Active" and "All". Click on "All", and you should find your table on the Pivot table fields

If I don't want to concatenate and just need single text or number - how to do that?

You are getting multiple text results because of the Filter context. For example, you are getting all the products under each category. Because applying the Filter of a certain category will contain the products under that category. Therefore, if you need to have only a single result, you can simply apply a filter that produces a single result. You could probably also use the TOPN function in DAX to show the top result only if you have a set of results depending on the situation.
