@@ExcelForFreelancers However, there is 1 question I have. How do I keep a good overview of the VBA section when you have created a lot of macros and how do I keep it well organized. And regarding the beginning of these lessons. It is important to experience it from the Master himself and you learn all the time. Thank you

Thanks Randy, another great teaching. I actually thought the mentorship program was going to be like this and work our way up to making programs with what we learned, I'll work on the mentorship program more once I get better at VBA.

Hi Michael, that sounds like a good plan. The 132 hour mentorship program would probably well over 200 hours if I was going to includes the basic VBA training, so these beginner VBA Basic lessons should help You may want to consider enrolling in Daniel Strong’s Ultimate Excel VBA 30-hour course, in which I have secured a special discount for Excel For Freelancer Followers right here: bit.ly/VBACourseRandyShared I hope this helps and thanks so much.

One of the best things I ever did while programming VBA, and I didn't do it long before getting laid off, was to use AutoHotKey to program to automatically put in the basics of for/next, do, select statements. I could type fornext and pooof it would transform into the perfect for next loop. I also did a forrng which would prompt me to activate the worksheet and select the top of the range and it would automatically format a dynamic range for the fornext loop.
@ExcelForFreelancers Жыл бұрын
oh wow that is a great idea. To be honest, I have not even used the AutoHotkey potential. It can do so much more than the way I am using it. It can literally automate almost everything, not just typing. I have to take some time to explore more of its power. Thanks again for sharing

Hello, I have a problem, I have a sum in C3, now I want to copy it to the next column and then add a cell to the next column up to column DW, what is the best way to do this, can you give an example, thank you
@ExcelForFreelancers6 ай бұрын
Hi and thanks you can link to the cell using an absolute reference such as =$C$3 then use a relative reference for the remaining cells. I hope this helps. The most important thing has been forgotten: At "for", the loop starts with the first value, but it changes with the "next" statement, as long as the value is between min and max, the loop is repeated with the new value. It is therefore possible that a loop never ends if, for example, the loop variable is changed within the loop. Also: the value after exiting the loop with "next" will be outside of the last value: with "for a=5 to 7 step 2", for example, will be end with 9 and not with 7 after next!

Sir in 2nd example why did you take Range as a type of variable and what is works and After that why did you write "For Each Cell " what is mean
@ExcelForFreelancers11 ай бұрын
Hi and thanks the Range will allow us to loop through specific cells within a range and the "For Each Cell" allows the macro to check each cell in the range. I hope this helps and thanks so much.

@@ExcelForFreelancers But in place of "For Each Cell" we can Specify the range also suppose A1:D10 then also it will go to the each cell i am getting confusion in this Thank you....
