Yes for sure it can be. The first time i did it I thought it would never work, But it just takes a bit of patience. If you download the workbook as well for sure you are going to be an expert very shortly.

Greetings. I have just recently found your excellent videos. I love the way that you deliver the content and build up the complexity. I have just one question. Is it possible to send out an email with multiple ICS or Google links, to the same email? E.g if the person has three (3) appointment times, on different days, in the week can these all be sent in the same email Or do you have to send them in 3 Individual Emails? Thanks And keep the great videos going.....

Hello Bruce, thanks very much for your comment. It is certainly possible since an ics is just a simple attachment. You can add multiple attachments to an email. As long as these attachments are located within your computer's file system there would be no issue. You would just have to loop through the variables and create 3 different ics files, then attach them. I hope this helps. Hi Randy, Great work, I have just recently come across your videos and this one jumped out at me but after giving it a try I found it didnt work for me, I came to the conclusion that I dont actually have outlook installed as I am trying out the windows 10 extras to see how they get along. So... Is there any way to amend the VB to accommodate this or is it strictly MS outlook office based. Thanks Mike

Hi Mike, great question. I have done some customizations for other email clients however Outlook is far simpler. Many people, who don't use Outlook regularly, just install it to send and not receive) no matter what email you use, even gmail. So you may want to install Outlook just for this purpose, even if it works in the background. (There are other options however they are more involved and require other reference libraries to be attached) I believe any Windows version that runs Excel with macros 'should' run Outlook as well, but i have not tried Windows 10 extras myself. Excellent idea thank you, I tried a simple replacement of the Outlook.Application string (Just the Outlook part) with the real name of my mail program but it doesnt seem to work, I get the ICS file then the error, I tried it with the built-in Mail App and a free to download Program (eM Client) which i believe uses ICS for its calendar etc. Thanks for your help and keep up the great videos.
