I have had the same washer for more than 7 years and the issue with the pressure build up has always been air in the garden hose which is sent into the unit after start up. Once the air is sufficiently purged from the unit, all is well. I now run the hose for a bit to remove the air prior to hooking up to the washer. However, I will keep an eye out for impediments in the wand.

I had a similar issue with mud and shells once, we used the pressure washer to water jet for dock pilings. Not a great idea, but it did work.

yes pull the 2mm screw out of the end and clean it out, I used a pin and break clean, works great.

That tip looks exactly like my soap tip it has 2 flat blades in the front of it you can adjust it from wide angle to narrow by pulling or pushing tip as I'm not sure because he didn't show what it looked like I could be wrong

Well my pressure was low, culprit was a cut high pressure hose, its under, thru a hole that cut from its sharp edge
