That's so dumb... any sensible person who reads the description of "Freeze Panes" would think to select the rows that you're trying to freeze, not select a single block below or next to the rows you're trying to freeze... Thank you for deciphering the ridiculousness.

That's great. However, I would like to know how to do this in Page layout view. If I select Page layout after I have frozen my cells, it gives me a message that it will disable freeze panes. This is not good from Microsoft. Is there a way around this please? A challenge for you.
