Mam in the result is in 10's complement so in gate exams answer will be in 10s complement Or in actual form?

Mam... in excess 3 subtraction (smaller from bigger) you have taken complment first to the subtrahend and added 3 to each bit....but in this video (bigger to smaller) its is completely opposite ...added 3 to each bit and taken complement...why?🤔
