I think you're offering some excellent wisdom here, although maybe there are some semantic differences I'd offer up for anyone peeking in the comments. The concept I think you're speaking on is that in order to ever reach a higher level of being, we must assume the higher concept of ourselves, whatever it may be. In your words, the illusion- to reach it, we have to accept it as being true already. I think you (and we all, at one point or another) have done this in some fashion when we grow. Your decision to speak openly and not withhold whatever it might be, or coming to the understanding that you already are worthy, for examples: these aren't abandoning our goals, they're just viewing, working towards and achieving them differently, if that makes sense. I believe as humans we need to work towards something to truly thrive and live, but the matter of how best to do so is something of a great secret everyone needs to discover on their own terms. This whole... thing has so many names given to it, or ways to speak about it, view it. So many quotes, expressions, mantras, philosophies, religions... across cultures and time speak to this same truth. We all learn about it differently and apply it differently, some people never grasp it at all, or do it unconsciously at various points in their lives, or some combination of both... yapping aside, thank you for sharing your personal version of it. It guides me today and will be a pleasant memory tomorrow. I hope you're enjoying your evening, too. I wasn't talking about this per se, but its all so connected - so many of these things all point back to our inherent power to create in this world and how we can influence our reality.

I don’t get heart wrenched when I lose something because I’m a psychopath, and I believe I’m good enough always, I just don’t find pleasure in things that other people do. Money and material possessions make me happy.

You might be the first known psychopath I've chatted with. Kinda cool you aren't attached to the typical things which means you aren't swayed when you lose them. Would the lack of money and possessions then make you unhappy if you didn't have them?

@ In the past, yes. But I recently found spirituality through a recovery program that I’m not allowed to name, and if I lost everything, I would still be able to meet and help other people. That has given me a new freedom and a new happiness that goes beyond the happiness I get from having material possessions.
