This song is a remake of the same titled song by Skeeter Davis. I knew one of her drummers in Nashville, TN. This song was kinda like her one big hit but it's an amazing depiction of how someone experiences loss of a loved one. Jeff and Dion did a good melodic take on the surrealism of this song's message in my opinion

Tbh I wasn't a fan of the vocals at first but they sorta grew on me I guess? I love the instrumentals and lyrics though! - "Why does the sun go on shining? Why do the birds keep singing?" "Why do the stars shine above? Don't they know it's the end of the world?" -the lyrics are all about how someone might feel like their world is ending because they're no longer with someone. Like this song is a really cool way of showing that feeling if that makes sense:)
