I work in this industry. When we do events like this (even for smaller ones), we have to bring our own generator trucks (they're 53' semi trailers with huge 3-phase generators in them, and bigger events like lost lands can have as many as 7 or 8 trucks), because we arent allowed to tap into the city grid. An event like this could easily blow a cutout and leave multiple whole neighborhoods in the dark, so we have to provide our own power
