I’m so envious for the person who got away with the 4 pieces of LeCrusett. I’ve wanted some of those since I can remember. Enjoy! Then you can leave them to your daughter and in turn, she’ll leave them for her daughter and so, on and on❤

11:57 OMG When i was a child I was learning needlepoint. I had this EXACT set as one of my practice patterns If this is dated '76 it couldn't actually BE mine, but WOW, Flash back.

That beautiful Irish aran jumper looks like a clan aran jumper. I knitted for my husband similar to that.

One time at a yard sale I bought a tent for $25, it later turned out to be a springbar tent worth $1,500

I always find it sad to find collections of certain items at the Goodwill Stores. You know that grandma or great auntie lovingly kept those throughout the years and when she passed away, the kids didn't want them. It's always so sad. I see heartbreaking collections all the time.

Short story is, I have found a hundred dollar bull on three occasions. Two by thrifting. Would buy the spice rack myself just on gp.

Idk how people thrift items so cheaply. The awesome couch I bought was $150. Probably priced that was because so many people saw it on Friday (It wasn't priced until Monday) and immediately wanted it.

Aren't you guys worried that the thrifted furniture is infested or unsanitary and probably that is why the owners disposed them? Also are those wedding dresses dry-cleaned or are you going to have them cleaned? Sorry, I am kind of germophobic and also worried about infestation. If you have watched TBBT, perhaps you remember the episode where Penny picks up a beautiful sofa chair from the sidewalk, and realises it has an animal living inside the upholstery.
@icdumppl2024Ай бұрын
Yes , I won't buy any furniture because I automatically think "bed bugs". I will buy clothes and wash them before wearing them. But I won't buy underwear -- GROSS! As for you being germophobic, I am too, but I will not apologize for it

I bought a great sofa 15 yrs ago from GW. .LIKE NEW and a steal. Still have it. Never thought of critters THEN. Has two recliners on each end. Didn't know that until I got it home. Tested them and a C note fell out. So I got the couch almost free. NOW, not so sure I would buy furniture like that.

4:27 I don't know how old this is, but a British pound has been worth a fair bit more than a US dollar as long as I can remember. Right now, 592 GBP = 768 USD!
