Hi Carrie, thanks for new ideas and your creative talents. I am researching for a tumbler and I appreciate the review. I belonged to a sterling and stone club in Arizona when I used to winter there. We had a vibrating polisher and magnetic polisher. One helpful tip I can offer... you can buy drain strainers in various sizes at the dollar store. We put the smaller strainer in first and the larger strainer over top that fits flush. This prevented losing stainless shot and or jewelry pieces down the drain when straining the liquid off. Saves your shot and your plumbing 😂 Thanks again for sharing. New subscriber Kelly 😊

Hi!! I’m using an iPhone 1080p 60fps. I could go higher to 4k but I’m always running out of storage 😂 Then once it’s recorded I put it through CapCut and I will manually pull in the shot to where I want the viewer to look. Or pan out if needs be. Nothing irritates me more when watching a video and I can’t see what they’re doing! What’s the point? 😄 Thanks for joining me! 🤗💚✨🧡

great tutorial! The design looks like it would be fun to try! I may have missed it, but I was wondering what type of wire you’re using with the Tumblr and the Dremel? Is it solid silver or copper? Have you ever done this with a silver lacquer coated copper wire that’s in a different color? I’m thinking that the lacquer color coating layer might strip off when using that technique.
@carriefoscatodesign16 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! I’ve only ever used bare copper and sterling silver wire in jewelry making, so I honestly can’t say. But I lean towards your thinking; tumbling around can’t be good for any type of coating. I think I might have to get some colored wire and test it just to see. Thanks for joining me! 🤗💚✨🧡

@carriefoscatodesignАй бұрын
@@jilllederer9628 I haven’t had any problems with delicate things or 20-24g items. I have not done really fine wire, but everything else has been holding up nicely! I would simply try 10-15min at first to see how things are going. Thanks for the great question!🤗💚✨🧡

Love your videos and creations. I have a question about the tumbler. Will it wash of the liver of sulpher application?
@carriefoscatodesignАй бұрын
Very good question! I don’t know first hand but I would say it would be ok if you used all round shot. I use shot that is all different shapes, rods and points to get into nooks and crannies but round might kind of work like a polishing tip or steel wool. And I would only do it for 10-15 min (not the full hour+) first to see what it would do. I don’t use LOS so I don’t have a lot of experience with that 😢 Thanks for watching and commenting! 🤗💚✨🧡

@@lisafarin7770 awww you’re so sweet. Thank you! Yes, invest in I think it’s 403 steel. You know how Sterling is .925, well that number is specific to high grade steel. The tumbler does come with shot that works fine the few first times and then it starts to rust. The other I bought has lots of different shapes to really get in the nooks and crannies. Why do you get dead soft wire if you have to make a point to work harden it?
