I would love to see a sit down Q&A w your mum. Like what it’s like for her to see you as a mum now, talking about childhood toys you loved & funny toddler or little kids stories. Maybe like funny or interesting things that you thought as a kid.

I am nostalgic too , but I would say it comes in phases. You nailed it when you said “when the world gets too much, you go back to childhood nostalgia. That’s how I am- I go back to fave childhood Disney films, looking up childhood candy or things I had as a kid.

I feel like the 2 things that we’re most similar with (and probably why I’ve loved watching you so much the past 11 years or so) are our love of the seasons and how embracing them makes us happy. And also the nostalgia, I think nostalgia’s formed my whole personality, even my fashion I love clothes that remind me of the 90s so I totally get it! 💛

My favourite programme that my 22 month old watches up to now is Sarah and Duck. She quacks along to the theme tune which is absolutely adorable, it’s quite calming and also a little bit surreal. Paddington is definitely up there too 🥰

Growing up we always went to the Isle of Wight for our family holidays where we would stay in a caravan. Every single time, without fail, we would go to Black Gang Chine. There’s a photo of my grandad from when my mum was a toddler in the demon/monster mouth there and that same “fixture” is still there. We take photos with it every time. I love how timeless the whole place is. Also the only kids tv show I will really get into and tend to watch even if the boys have fell asleep is Bluey or Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous. It used to be Paddington when they were smaller. Been watching since late 2011, early 2012. I love how I’ve grown and made a family alongside you doing the same. Your videos have evolved with me!

Save the sentimental pieces for your next baby, and donate the onesies and vests etc. Lots of Ottie’s sweaters, jeans and overalls could be worn by a boy as well. I’ve seen lots of cool quilts made out of sentimental clothing pieces through Etsy sellers. I love this kind of vlog! I only found you through your pregnancy content right around the time Ottie was born. I am Canadian but live in the US and I much prefer British vloggers to American ones. ❤

I'm extremely nostalgic! I think more and more people are becoming nostalgic (maybe as we get older), but I have always been this way. I thought I was different for being nostalgic. Even when I was 14, I'd love to look through videos from even a couple years ago at the time. I was also obsessed with watching old disney movies on a VHS during high school. I like to go on pinterest and look at 90's/early 2000's vibes too haha. It's so comforting. It's not like I would ever want to go back, because I love where I am currently at in life. But there is some kind of comfort and magic that it brings me. I'm so glad you're nostalgic too :)

Zoe, I am just going to be super transparent. I have been going through such a hard time. My husband and I are trying to become pregnant and it’s going way more difficult than planned. I have PCOS and it is proving to be quite the journey. On top of that, all of the incredible women that I am close to are either pregnant or have just had a baby. And while I am extremely excited for them, it has been so difficult to watch them all live out my dream of being a mom. On the days when I am most blue, I watch one of your videos and it just absolutely brightens my day. The way you soak up the time that you have with Ottie and the joy on your face when you speak about her for some reason, just gives me hope and makes me excited for my day of becoming a mom. I have been watching you for sooooo long and this is my very first comment haha! But I just felt it was important that I say, thank you. THANK YOU for brightening my dark days. 🤟🏻

I find the differences in language in children's songs around the world so interesting. Zoe sang "Ring a ring o' roses" where here in the States we would sing "Ring around the rosie, pocket full of posies...". It makes me wonder where those differences come from and how they start.
