EXCITING Future Months For SIM RACING!

For me I believe Assetto Corsa with Content Manager is the ultimate Sim for me. I am disabled and race from my bed with all the race gear , computer and single screen mounted on a wooden console table that rolls over the bed to give a driving position. As my condition varies I can never commit to race at any given time or day so to be able to drop in when I am feeling well enough to race is perfect for me . I'm now 69 and started Sim Racing last year for the first time. Thanks for all the informative videos and sound advice. My very best wishes Brian aka g0rlbm.

Can't wait fro ams2 1.6!!! imo it the best lmdh sim now, ffb is waaay better than any other sim (especially if you use custom ffb file, i use FULL FFB 19.1 and really recommend it to everyone) In fact, you can already have a great ride on Racecraft Online, there is already a community of very fast guys there and at the same time the racing etiquette is much better than on the average GT 3 splits in IRacing

I will play RR, AMS2, LMU, RF2, EA WRC, but now having motion RR feels a bit more flat and miss sense of speed and bumps. LMU, AMS2 and even WRC have great motion and road surface feel. I think lack of laserscan in RR is a bummer.

For LMU I think 2 of the cars will be the Ferrari and the Corvette. They had like an interesting clip of two cars in front bumper cam and their sound, which seemed like a turbo V6 and the Corvette engine sound

It's amazing what's being done with the ancient RaceRoom! The new DMT 95 cars are my new absolute favourites. I highly recommend them. AMS2? Nothing will have changed, but Renato will write a boring 10,000 word essay about how they've fixed its unfixable, broken physics. 😂

I'm really looking forward to the AMS2 update. It's such a beautiful sim with great content. The driving has been improved a lot but I've always said if they would fix the floaty feeling and get some online stuff going, it would be way more popular. Lots of potential for cool races. Le Mans Ultimate has gotten a lot better but still inconsistent but GT3s will help I think. I'm still 85% iracing so I'm really interested in this next few updates with the new tire model, graphics updates, etc.

Raceroom has become my go to circuit racing game. I'm trying out LMU and I enjoy it but my computer is just a bit too weak to take full advantage of LMU graphics. Raceroom is perfect for my needs.

I disagree with your disagreement around paying for LMU stuff during EA. If you were aware of their position, they are very short on cash, and they need money to develop this game further. Having played this game for 2 weeks straight recently, I am more than happy to invest into the platform to get it where it deserves. If it was super shit, then I would think differently. It is built on rFactor 2, which is an amazing sim, and so I'm happy to give it the chance it deserves. Perhaps you should save the money you spend on iAwfulRacing because it It is MILES better than platforms like iRacing that charge way too much for awful feeling cars. I think THAT should be a crime, not LMU.

I jumped to iRacing last month with a year sub and bought the Porsche cup and Vet Gt3, and I was about to invest In a few tracks and one or two cars, but now I'm think of not investing more In iRacing as enjoy AMS2 for Solo and EVO is coming. I like LMU, but not a fan of the tracks except for Monza and Sebring.

Jardier, I'll be honest and this is in no way an attack on you or anyone at all, but I think the reason why most fans of other sims are very critical of your opinions on their sims is because you're always on ACC in a GT3 car. 99% of your sim racing is on ACC and no where else, so it becomes hard to take your opinion on any other sim seriously because you don't drive those sims. The criticism from communities especially show up when you praise a game for how fun it is and how an update made the game so good, but proceed to never touch it again, only to play ACC. The general thoughts right now is that even if this update for AMS 2 is the best in the world, best physics etc, many KZbinrs will play it for 1 video, then move back to same old ACC / iRacing content. That's just the opinions I've seen. Other sims are really overlooked. This is just my opinion after all I've seen over the years from the communities.

simple: YT content creators (or any sm) go to what draws them views. ACC is literally the most popular GT3 sim, and GT3 is literally the most popular race car class (except maybe boring F1). Aside from iRacing and ACC, the other sims are pretty much dead when it comes to having an active "community" or a competitive online racing scene.

Gotta agree Why would i race any other sim if gt3 was my car of choice. Seems like a no brainer. ACC is king of that without a doubt. Imo, favs in many situations are often chosen based on popularity as we like to feel that we made the "right" decision as the majority did. Its not tho lets be honest. The 3 sim racing games that are mainly used are iRacing, gran tourismo and assetto corsa competitzione. All these others are just games with loads of bs hype that doe after a couple of months. Renn sport huge failure same with le mans ultimate the same with automobilista and its because they do not have a system like iracing. The only way these games will survive is if they have the iracong system.

Race Room update is cool. But let's be honest. It's going to be behind a paywall an it is going to be expensive. Plus the fact that RR doesn't have any players. 🙄 I don't have much expectations towards AC EVO. Because of Kunos. We learned with ACC that they promise alot but deliver only half. 😬 ACC has issues Kunos doesn't bother fixing because they are busy with EVO. And multiplayer in ACC is total poop. Out of 1100 servers only 8 have more than 10 drivers and from those 8 servers 6 are running Monza. So there's not much going on there either. Unless your part of some pro's only racing club that you need to know a secret handshake to get in. 😕 So that pretty much leaves iracing for the average weekend racer.
