🙋 I'd volunteer to have you critique my make up application! Since menopause, I don't recognise my face, eye shape, or any products/application that I've used for decades. They just don't work anymore. Foundation looks powdery and cakey and dry, or enhances wrinkles and pores... my eyes are crinkly and go down at the end now. Urgh... I used to love make up and the therapeutic process of putting it on before going out. I used to do wonderful looks, but now I just can't get it right. I'll try this new foundation that you've shown us today ( thank you! Your skin looks radiant!) and keep my fingers crossed it doesn't make me look every second of my 55 years. 😞 You always give me hope, Caroline, so thank you thank you thank you for your weekly videos. Absolutely agree! Im 67 and have found that the lightweight foundations work so much better on mature skin. You may not get the sort of coverage you want but being lightweight it adds a bit of a glow to the skin without being cakey, powdery and drying. Any bad bits you just whack a bit of concealer on and Bobs Your Uncle. Once I figured that out I rediscovered my love for makeup again. xx

I love these type of products, especially since my skin has become much more mature. What shade have you used? How does it compare to Tinted Oleo-Serum by Clarins? Other products of this nature that I like are Beauty Pie Tinted SPF 20, Mac’s Face & Body or Glossier’s Skin Tint. Every foundation I have or try a new one, just no longer looks good on my complexion, and feel that instead of enhancing it, it actually makes it looks worse - dry, powdery and emphasising texture. I’ve been a Beauty Pie member for years 😊

I have now tried it in light (I’m light/medium skin tone). It feels super comfortable on the skin - moisturising and just glides on. It envelopes the skin leaving dewy effect with sheer to light coverage. The texture is different to most skin tints, but I can think of one or two dewy skin tints this is similar to. Love it 😍

Fantastic look, as usual ✌Maybe you could do a series of the ABCs of makeup: how to apply blush & Co, various possibilities, and their results. And the same for the foundation, powder and cream eye shadows, lipstick, mascara, etc., etc. For example, you apply blush on your cheek, when there are many who advise putting it higher up. Is there a difference? But I really like how it looks on you. 💗Thank you for everything! Your son is a genius, and He is unconsciously giving you an organic flavour to your videos, let life be in here, very authentic. 🤩🤩 By the way: for eyelashes and eyebrows I discovered the miracle of applying castor oil, and they grew and keep growing and getting stronger. I had seen the beautypie new launches but was initially disappointed that the new foundation is such light coverage. However, you sold me on giving it a go! I live in hot and humid south FL so hopefully it will withstand the sweating and not look too greasy on my combination skin. That lipstick looked awesome will have to try it as well. Your makeup look came out so pretty and you always make it look effortless.

Hi Caroline, which shade did you use ? I really want to try this but they all look so yellow. You have a lovely warm undertone so it suits you beautifully, but I’m more cool so don’t want it to look weird. I have 2 shades of the tinted moisturiser too and they’re both too yellow 😩

We cant get Beauty Pie here so I for one would appreciate your research into finding a similar product to the one you used. That hair dryer is absolutely dinky and lovely!! Does it come with a diffuser as I have curly hair so tend to use a diffuser when I use the hair dryer. Your hair and makeup ended up looking soft, sophisticated and so summery even though I know you are into Autumn there. Gorgeous. Have a great week ahead xx

It's such a pretty foundation. I like a very light formula because in FL the humidity sweats of heavy foundation & it sort of floats on your skin 😑. Milani makes a very light, glowy tinted moisturizer that I like but the color is a little warm for me. I really like it but have to take down the shine in areas. Is Beauty Pie available in the USA?

I've been looking at Beauty Pie's Superluminous products and have reached my usual quandary: why do makeup colours always look so yellow/orange on websites? How on earth do you buy without making a huge mistake: Lisa Eldridge has an amazing number of colours of her foundations and there's a sample of all of them. It works really well. Why doesn't Beauty Pie too?

I watch another lovely Lady KZbinr from the UK, and she also loves Beauty Pie. Its difficult to determine your shade on the beauty pie site. It woukd be helpful uf tgey couid gyve sine comisrisjn ti other hrabd shades. I live beauty pie but i fo find their makeup ( apart from the under eye briggtener) hit and miss unfortunately. At £200 i can understabd why you didn't link the hairdryer! Ouch!

You know its quite insulting to those of us with cool toned skin, for you to say "the colours are all nice and warm, as in they're not too pink, you wouldn't expect anything less". I embrace my cool skin and enjoy being pale. The slightest bit of warmth in a base product pulls orange on me. I don't know why you continue to alienate viewers by assuming we all like to be tanned and bronzed.
