I’d like to give a major shoutout to @Fizz_LizardCaT777 for suggesting that I race these two locomotives!
In today’s video, we race the famous Daylight of the Southern Pacific against the SAR 520 locomotive!
Daylight was a 4-8-4 “Northern” type steam locomotive built in the United States for the Southern Pacific Railroad. She’s absolutely iconic for her bright colors and stylish streamlining, not to mention a speed capability of 110 mph (177.028 km/h)! She’s also the only surviving locomotive of her class and is currently in operational condition running excursion trains!
The SAR 520 class consisted of twelve streamlined 4-8-4 “Northern” type steam locomotive built for the Southern Australian Railway. Their streamlining is similar to that of the Pennsylvania Railroad’s T1 locomotives, albeit the 520 class locomotives were a lot smaller than the T1s.
With that all being said, thank you for watching this video! If you like my content, be sure to subscribe and leave a like on one of my videos!
If you have a requested locomotive for me to include in a race, I’ll be more than happy to feature that locomotive in a future video! However, I can’t do every single locomotive and will let you know if I can’t. But I will find a way to make it up to you if I can’t race your requested locomotive.
With that being said, I hope you all have a great day! Remember to shine bright like the stars you are! 😁😁
