What a bloke, I used to love watching his programs growing up! A true inspiration.

Loved watching his programmes and love Norfolk too. Sadly he never made it home after finding out what many do, other countries can be great to visit, but living there is something else. Britain is still the most beautiful country in the world and home always ends up where the heart truly is.

Rip John, thanks for the great watches as I grew up and learnt fishing. Sad you never got home before you left us. I hope you are back in time up there catching 2lb plus roach and fishing all the rivers you loved "back in the day"!

He deserved it all, and was gone far too young. The man who shared my angling education with my Dad.
