As someone who hasn’t played this game since the first month it was out I still have a small bit of hope for this game mode. The gameplay is bad but I haven’t touched the game since they released sliders so hopefully I can make it a bit more enjoyable. Glad to hear that there’s offline modes. Even if this mode is a huge success I don’t see it having a sustainable player base for online play and I think big ant knew that too. It was important for them to have AI modes for the longevity of the product. I’ll give it a shot but chances are that I’ll find myself going back to afl evo 2 with the superior gameplay.

I haven't used sliders yet but that patch in March improved the game play dramatically IMO. Have seen a few use sliders to make it more to their style and have great fun too, worth a shot!

They did but that's not for me to say unfortunately. But the mode is ready to go as soon as the green light of approval is given! Hopefully not too much longer!

Hopefully that "tug of war" mode is thought out. I'm a Hawthorn fan but if there was a Hawthorn vs Collingwood challenge then most likely Collingwood will have more players, so those guys will get the rewards. Probably smarter to pick the the team you think will win over the team you like, so you don't miss out on rewards.

Do you need ps plus for coaches battle or ranked mode?

Yeah you will need an online connection to play the game. Even in the AI modes, like squad battles on EA etc

Most promising thing to me is that there's no transfer market. As long as there's plenty of ways to earn players through gameplay, I think it's a lot more rewarding and also logical given a small player base. Hopefully there's game modes like 2k My Team where you play some challenges and earn a player/pack. Say you might play a "Richmond Showcase" and you get to pick a Richmond current player for completing it. Hopefully repeatable so it's achievable to get players you want. Also should be able to earn legends through harder challenges.

Yeah I don't mind no transfer market, stops people just buying all the top players and destroying everyone. I like your other ideas! That would be very cool. I forgot to mention there are position specific packs e.g a midfielder pack so hopefully they can do team related ones too!

Tbf with the transfer market you would have to earn gold and that does mean more packs for big ant to make which that will make pro team even a longer time for coming out. Maybe in the future?

As soon as platform holders give the green light which is hopefully soon! It's literally sitting there ready to go. There will be a patch with game tweaks / improvements as well, I'm not sure specifically what though
