To be honest when you've been around the game as long as he has (a lot of it potentially unwillingly) you do get exposed to the negative things that happen around the sport more frequently. I don't really blame him and if his heart isn't set on it then he's made the right decision, I totally buy the fact that he got heavily scrutinized while he was playing and that does have a big impact on players especially when they're that young. Brooklyn in this instance is very akin to Michael Jordan's sons in basketball terms who also never got close to what their dad achieved and it's also not like David was the only one of his parents that had an interesting career so Victoria definitely would have had more of an influence on what the boys wanted to do or what they liked just purely by being around them more. Some people just don't have that same love for the game that some of us do and that's fine.
