Shit bro, to be honest, I may just buy the Ryvid Anthem 🤣 For the price under 6k and its available now. But if I hear anything more on the C1X I will definitely make a video. It just seems to me, as someone who doesn't work for Super73, that they are missing an opportunity here with the timing of this bike. But i guess only time will tell.

Hey Rebel, so I don’t have much of an exact answer yet, also I don’t work for and I’m not associated with Super73 besides just being an ambassador for the brand. But if I had to guess I would say there should be like 2 different models, one a standard range and one a long range and I would think that the standard range would be somewhere between 10-12k possibly a little less and the long range somewhere 12-15k Again that’s just a guess. 🍻🍻
@Rebel-Unit Жыл бұрын
@ShawverFilms Thanks my inference is that is a guess I can accept, especially given the current economy and with the current inflation. The timing has to be 2024 or I don't think they will fill the customer base, they need to get to keep Super73 alive, they need to target 2024 and no later than summer or they may not make it.

If it can do 40 miles of range while going 75-80 mph, then that make sense my short commute, but if it can do 100 mile range only if you stay at 25mph, then can't work for my use.

Super 73 have always been marketing geniuses. They know how to create a "brand and culture". They have not been able to create the superior performance product, so it looks like they will leaped frog over the performance issue, by creating a new range paradigm. Fast charging is the key to everything. An electric motorcycle makes no practical sense if you can't charge quickly. Range anxiety is the number one complaint of e-bike/e-MC users. It is also the thing that stops millions of other people from making the switch from ICE. We will have to wait and see what comes of all of this, as Super 73 is also known to hype something early to have people wait and not buy something currently available. We shall see.

Super 73 needs to up the game on the other electric bikes. They are way to expensive when compared to other brands like this. First 52v should be the standard, torque sensor, at least 60 tooth crank and no doubt brake lights. Super 73 use to be in the lead and now seem to be falling back. Use to you would buy a super 73 then upgrade everything and now you can buy a completely upgrade bike and half the cost.

Tesla charging is needed for this to work
@zeroboyrick1717 Жыл бұрын
Here's the reality. The charging stations are few and far between are hogged up by vehicles using the charging spots as long-term parking. Been doing this for 3 years and in that time, there has been no new charging stations added in my area. Trust me you will find out what range anxiety is all about. Pushing people into EV's without adding enough chargers is irresponsible, cart before the horse. If you have anything other than a Tesla you will need to use J1772 chargers and due to the scarcity, they are almost always filled. If you see people wandering with blank stares looking homeless, they are the new EV owners charging= charging zombies.
@ShawverFilms Жыл бұрын
Hey Rick, thanks for the comment. I’m wondering what state you live in only because living in SoCal personally I prolly see a different viewpoint on charge stations. Also with Tesla if your charge time is up they start to charge $1 a minute haha I have fallen victim to that before but usually only like a few minutes while I run back to my car. Do non Tesla charging stations not have a penalty for parking after your charge is over? Lastly I think that if Super is able to somehow over the next year or two get approval from Tesla to use their stations that would definitely help I believe. Thanks again for the feedback 🍻
@zeroboyrick1717 Жыл бұрын
I welcome new EV motorcycles so not trying to bash that. Those are the only EV's that make sense. I'm in Henderson Nevada area. There is no charging etiquette at the J1772 chargers and Charge Point is about the only game in town. They are not fast chargers like Tesla which really adds to the problem. Elon did most everything right but the rest of us are in total lawlessness. No planning no infrastructure just good intentions and wishful thinking. Yes I see cars fully charged taking up charge spots all the time, the charger just shuts off when fully charged, no monetary penalties. That would go a long way to solve the problem!@@ShawverFilms

This is the answer that I found online….. “In 1973 there was the gas crisis, and gas prices shot up, not too dissimilar from today. And there were lines at the station. So, what better way to navigate around that usage and consumption of gas than to have an electric vehicle? So Super73 was just kind of this beautifully poetic name we landed on.” Hope that somewhat explains. Thanks for watching. 🍻

Honestly, electric cars will never take over because like right now with this cold weather in the south, all these electric cars are having so much trouble charging, plus our electric grid can NOT handle all the charging. Every winter and summer, electric companies are asking customers to turn off space heaters in winter and turn down AC in summer because it is over loading the grid. If everyone owned an electric car, electric companies would be asking customers to only charge their car to 50% then stop because the grid is over loaded.
@JebusFinklestein10 ай бұрын
I agree! But this video has absolutely nothing to do with electric cars, which are not gonna work for 100 different reasons. That being said, I would love to own this bike to drive across my small city for work. This would save wear and tear on my T7, which i absolutely love riding to work in the morning.
