"Chou" is a Taiwanese popular Chinese-suremane "周", in China Mainland it spells "Zhou". The shooter is a neutralized American citizen and his hometown was Taiwan, China but not mainland China.

@@waynesama Not even Chinese from China, nor a fan of the Chinese govt but as someone who really hates lies and disinformation that twist the fact to mislead people, I just can't stand with and have to point out the truth, and as again : 1. The shooter was born and grew up in Taiwan, he is 100% Taiwanese, not Mainland Chinese but the media says he is Mainland Chinese. That is wrong and typically disinformation. 2. Taiwanese are basically the same Chinese race (Han Chinese) just like other Mainland Chinese like Cantonese, Shanghainese...It's undeniable fact that has nothing to do with politics and political propaganda, yet the media makes it looks like "Taiwanese" and Chinese are 2 different races...That's kinda absurd and fact-twisting. RIP Dr Cheng. You are a hero. You saved the congregation. We need to realize that our government has been arming and training Ukraine's military last 8 years. Now you see the end results, the war btwn Russia and Ukraine. Very similar thing is happening with Taiwan lately; we are equipping Taiwanese military with our weapons and our troops are there to train their military personnel, preparing to fight back Chinese invasion. I hope we do not repeat Ukraine war there.
