Hi. Great video. I was the General Manager of that nightclub in 1999-2001 as Club Voodoo and 2005 to. 2008 as Club nite. I also came up with the name and concept of Fire and Ice but was working in Swansea during Fire and Ice days. There is no mystery I'm afraid with the safes. You have it muddled up unfortunately with The Courtyard which was being converted from a Council tax office. Sad to see my old office in such a state. The glass portholes were lit up from the Club Voodoo days and had sand and treasure in them. This club in 2005 was open 5 nights a week taking over 60k a week. Sad to see how far the nightclub industry has declined. Really enjoyed your video, brought back great memories. Know that building inside out.

It was voodoo before fire and ice, and before that was Ritzy’s. Although I feel it was something in between voodoos and fire and ice. When Ritzys it was all one club, but when fire and ice the smaller room was a kind of chill out room as such. I worked there when it was Ritzys, and worked on the door at Zanzibar aka, Brooklyn Heights, Heights 2000, and Escapades. Cool vid and I’m shocked how much of a good nick it’s still in.
