Whitney was guarded too, and God graced her with a man to be patient with her and pursue her… I do believe that we all need to heal and do the inner work and I’m a big supporter of therapy to address our wounds, but I also think that a man should be as persistent as DeAngelo… If a man is emotionally mature and knows what women go through he should be prepared to pursue and not give up after the first, sign of us being unsure. Not only that I really do believe D’Angelo was completely genuine that he appreciated the person. She was so much that he would’ve been happy just to get to know her as a friend. Women can feel that… When there is persistence with a motive and then persistence just because they like who you are. If we flat out tell him no, then we tell him no and that’s it, but I think that a lot of men have very fragile egos and they miss **their** blessings because they have lost the art of knowing how to be persistent in a healthy way for something they truly want.

@@Jai-lingin my teenage years not having sex was about God but as I became an adult I felt like if I gave that part of me away and my partner left, I wouldn’t recover well (abandonment issues). I had to trust God that sex with my husband would be enjoyable especially since God brought us together. While I didn’t know what I was doing in the beginning my husband was very patient and listened to my likes/dislikes.

Women take detailed notes on what this brother said! There are a plethora of men in their late 20's, 30's and 40's wanting to date for marriage . Yet when they do move intentionally ( too slow) often they get thrown into the friend zone! When they do lead with their faith and God, they get labeled ( too goody two shoes or too churchy). I know because I did years ago, along with several other brothers! Mr. Moss KNEW what he desired and HE CHOSE HER, without hesitation! The one thing he said, that hits home with most " good men" is when he talked ABOUT NOT BEING ENOUGH! That's in every category from his looks, car, finances, vibe, mentality, faith, zip codes and etc. Look for the men that have ( as I call it) The Peace of God in them that flows through them! Because her faith and trust was solely in The Lord. God waited the appointed time to send His very best for his favorite girl! When she started crying and saying she did not want him to leave her, I started balling. You could literally feel the sincerity and vulnerability of that statement. I’m used to seeing her crack so many jokes but in that moment I could relate to her because I know the feeling and she was so serious. This union definitely gives hope.
