What a flex to say both these players won a treble under pep. Having one treble cements you amongst the greatest but having 2 especially in the 2 most difficult leagues cements him as THE greatest manager ever. My issue with football debates today is that players get judged by everything they're not. What's the point of judging a true gunman like Haaland by his ability on the ball & in tight spaces? Even going back 10 years, being a PURE #9, meant something. Showing up in moments, with intelligent runs, being a nuisance, bullying defenders, while being a clinical & absolutely ruthless finisher used to be respected because everyone understood what a #9 was & what they were meant to do. There have been infinite better "FOOTBALLERS" than Erling, but in his position & role, he's already one of the, if not the greatest #9's in history. Give him a sniff & he will absolutely punish your mistakes. That's something you can't coach as a manager. He was born with this killer instinct.
