He is even more dangerous in india and he played brilliantly in ipl and he knows all grounds much better way and played much better way than shreyas iyer. Gill ki Jagah hi SKY ko khilana chahiye, if he gets out to new ball he can ....but if he plays 50 balls we may be sitting on 200 in 20 overs, it can have Jayasurya effect like 1996 & can stun the opponent’s....this will also give a statement to other teams .... additionally poore team ka combination nahi bigadega.... he can also give you 2-3 overs if needed ..... imagine the terror faced by other teams if he is successful... worth a gamble in initial games .... my 11 for next game ... 1. Absolutely useless interview. These guys want SKY in the playing eleven but want to be diplomatic and not say who should be dropped from the eleven. Bajji just cant name Ashwin as a good bowler. These guys were good players in their prime but are pathetic as experts because they do not have clarity in thinking. I feel we have an opportunity to try SKY as an opener in the absence of Gill, take advantage of the field restrictions and get off to a flyer. If SKY is taken, he should either bat at 1 or 6 and he should be given full license to go after the bowlers from the first ball. Todays game offers a opportunity to try SKY as an opener.
