Is the UT Administration of Ladakh issuing EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificates? It’s been quite some time since the 10% reservation for the EWS category was introduced, but to date, I haven’t seen a single person holding this certificate. If the administration is not issuing these certificates, what is the purpose of implementing the 10% reservation in this category? It seems unfair to announce policies without providing the means to access their benefits. This raises several questions: 1. Is the process for issuing EWS certificates operational in Ladakh? 2. Are there specific guidelines or eligibility criteria causing delays? 3. If certificates are being issued, why isn’t there wider awareness about it? If anyone has accurate information or updates regarding this matter, please share them here. This issue affects many people, and clarity is urgently needed. Thank you!

4 mla or 4 mlc but in j&k they used to be the slave poppet of ruling gov NC or PDP and miss use of power on local the Kashmiri way. UT mean free from Kashmiris autocracy and corrupt bureaucracy.

Urgent Clarification on the Legal Status of the Ladakh Resident Certificate (LRC) I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the contradictory information surrounding the legal validity of the Ladakh Resident Certificate (LRC). While higher authorities have confirmed that the LRC is not a legally sufficient document for claiming reservation benefits for Ladakh residents in government job recruitments, it is now being mandated as a prerequisite for obtaining new ration cards. This discrepancy has created significant confusion and uncertainty among Ladakh residents. It is imperative to clarify the legal status of the LRC and its applicability in various contexts. I kindly request you to provide a definitive clarification on the following: Legal Validity of the LRC: Please specify whether the LRC is a legally recognized document and if so, under which specific laws or regulations. Applicability for Reservation Benefits: Could you please elaborate on the reasons why the LRC is not considered a valid document for claiming reservation benefits? Mandate for Ration Cards: Kindly explain the rationale behind making the LRC mandatory for obtaining new ration cards. I trust that a prompt and comprehensive response to these queries will alleviate the confusion and anxiety among the residents of Ladakh.
