I think they think they are still young..Barcelona's Pau Curbasi is only 17 yrs but plays with such maturity..I am sure if we get another coach some of these guys will never play again..they are not comfortable with what they love doing..having the ball on there feet.

This is what’s a shame: Bohley and Clearlake turning us into a mid-table club with expectations as low as Brighton’s. We lost the title of European Giant. We are stuck with the majority of these overpaid 21 year olds for the next 6 years (at minimum) without any solid vetting or management. We are closer to being a “small team” ourselves. And this is all before we are served our own FFP fines and sanctions which very well could result in our relegation.

⁠​⁠@@ogKoralSo if you believe we’ve breached FFP, are going to be sanctioned, and possibly relegated why would you not want some of the worlds best U21 talents on smaller wages, and long term contracts? You’d rather keep players on high wages, massive egos, and shorter contracts, who don’t care for the club?? I don’t think so. They all left last summer because we missed out on Champions League. I understand the frustration, we’re not where we need to be. But until the books are balanced and we clear FFP this is our reality. We need to give it some time.

@@iannnCFC I totally agree with you, I’m honestly more interested to see where we go. We have a ton of potential on the team, plus almost everyone is under the age of 24 and only have had 2 years or less to play with each other. In the end, I can complain as much as I want but it won’t matter. we only can move forward and who knows what’s to stop us from having some fun lol it’s football it’s just a game Ig my frustrations come from the fact that as an American, I thought I was safe from the bullcrap American sports owners pull and how they run things here in the USA. 🤣 that coupled with the fact that the Bears (until recently), Bulls, and White Sox have management worse than Bohley that I’ve dealt with for 15+ years. Edit: Oh and the Chicago Fire lol

@@ogKoral 😂😂 100%. I think as a club we’re so used to winning it’s hard for everyone to adapt. It’s important that we uphold our usual standards, but it isn’t going to happen overnight. The fact is, they’ve bought all these young players to prepare for a possible points deduction or even a sanction. I love Roman, but the way he ran the club was dodgy and it’s clearly costing us now. We have to wait for these new owners to clean it up, and their staff to settle in. I think this summer will tell us a lot about the ownership. If they get a PROPER manager, some veteran players who bring leadership, have high IQ, and stay fit we’ll be challenging again. We just need to wait for the books to be cleared. I strongly believe this is all we need to get back to winning.

These boys would do better in a back 3 system, just hope Pochettino can understand this. I think Pochettino should experiment the 3-5-2 system more often just like Inzaghi at Inter Milan to bring the best out of our players, and I think he should experiment playing Diego Moreira at left wing-back, he would be surprised how good he is in this position. My preferred starting 11 v Everton, due to current fit players (3-5-2): Jackson. Palmer. Moreira. Casadei. Carney. Gusto. Caicedo. Badishile. Silva. Chalobah. Petrovic.

​ @Thiago_Silva485 Unfortunately, he isn't good enough and was a poor signing. Just very flawed as a player for the top level, a lot of his issues are mental, very panicky on the ball, makes bizarre and wrong decisions often which then retrospectively leads to him playing way too safe and harming our build up play, he simply isn't capable of being good on the ball, as I said a very poor signing and the first real blunder by the new recruitment team, the sooner he's out the team and then club the better.
