I'm so happy for Lou to be immortalized in the hall of honor. He seems to be somewhat of a forgotten superstar Steeler. He came around during a transition period when there wasn't much talent around him. Also the Steelers didn't get too much national air time in those days either. He truly was a great player. He would clearly be one of the best receivers in the NFL if he got to play with a good quarterback like Ben. Probably Hall of fame-worthy. He really was an exceptional player.

This guy was absolutely amazing. He averaged 20 yards per catch one season. He could score from anywhere on the field. Loved Louis Lipps!

I loved Lipps. He had 4 or 5 year run that was just awesome. Great return guy. Really good WR. I used to cut newspaper clippings with the sunday steeler game stats and i still have them. Lipps stats every sunday for few years were great.

Great receiver and great return man. All around great Steeler. His wife sang the national anthem for a game I attended, and she was awesome. Thanks for the memories Louis…..

Growing up I played wr so obvuous I took a liking to those that played the position. Louis provided much excitement and production during some lean times. He and Rod Woodson both. Then when Yancey Thigpen came along I was ecstatic to finally see someone that had the same name as mine...lol. Well deserved award to Loooo

Great seeing Louis Lipps again. He brought some excitement to those 80's teams as a dynamic returner. Also remember Lou making some incredible splash plays that made me jump up off my seat yelling, " I can't believe he caught that !! " Congrats on his well-deserved recognition and induction.

This Guy would have been a PFHOF first ballot IF he had been more fortunate in the era he got to play in - put him on a team with Big Ben and there would have been no question. Kudos Louis, you're a class act.
