You always have the nicest guests, Rahul. I have heard about Thomas de Monaco's fragrances and because of that expected him to be much more of a grand and pompous character, however he comes across as a very gentle and down to earth guy!

He is someone who let's his work and his perfumes speak and I have so much respect for that. You will realize it when you out your nose on his initial three atleast because I think that got him on the map really! Raw Gold (both old and new are stunning) Eau Coeur (my wife's fav.) and Grand Beau (a fragrance I swear by). Let me know if you happen to try them soon!

Uh oh. I just did two test wearings of Raw Gold from a decant and decided I would buy a full bottle. Its very strong, sweet, and even cloying, so I figured out the way to wear it is only two sprays. That way its very nice. But based in this discussion I now know the new release in the new bottles is REFORMULATED. That's the basis for my "uh oh". I don't know whether my decant is from the old or new. Plus I like the older bottle design more.

I thought id love the older bottle design as well but the new one isnt that bad at all especially when you hold it in your hand! I find the new version if Raw Gold much more wearable.
