I like to see old buildings like this renovated and put to a good use, instead of being torn down. It will be interesting to see this building after it has been completely renovated. Thank you very much Leo and Dean, ( and Heather ) for a great walking tour. You all have a Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 and a happy new year 🎉

Golly! That hospital reminds me of the haunted one in Maysville, KY. I would imagine the Old Matewan Hospital is also haunted. I love these old historic buildings. What a treat Leo!!! Thank you.

When I lived in DC in the 90s one time I took a couple of days extra coming back from visiting relatives down south and toured southern and middle WV went through Matewan, Willimson, logan and all those places..and . a lot of places I don't remember.. Did spend a lot of time in NE WV. it was my escape from the city... loved to go o Harpers Ferry, Berkley springs and Charlestown area...and some friends had a cabin way out somewhere around there. WV is cool..

Wow so cool ..that's going to look great when done. The Paranormal crews would love that place. Wonder if they hear anything strange like a ghost and spirits. Plus a place to stay when Paranormal folks do their investigation

Thank you Dean for letting Leo video this, we would have never known! I was waiting for you to, hollar and tell Dean to slow down man, you're making me run. That place would be great to set up in, like you did in the theater Leo! A lot of history to find out there and bring up, for people to know. Thanks Leo and Heather! God Bless and Merry Christmas! (Glen) WV.

First Happy Holiday to both of you!! 🎉🎉2nd if you watch the Waltons reruns in the later episodes where Mary Ellen is a nurse during ww2 you'll see the same equipment in the stage hospital so either that hospital is older then you assume or the Waltons was a decade off with their special effects ?
