We live in an Independent Democratic, Secular Republic country where each person is free to follow or practice any form of religion they choose. If they choose to follow no religion too, so be it. Ironically though, those who claim to be against "forced conversion" are the ones who are guilty of forced conversion themselves. Some group of Hindu fanatics, who try to reconvert Indians, who have chosen to follow Christianity, back to Hinduism by means of force (in the name of Ghar Wapsi or such) and sometimes even leading to death or near-death, are the ones who are guilty of forced conversion.

Whether you like it or not, religious conversions should not happen because when we all believe that all religions are true and all these paths take us to God so theres no need of conversion. Recently in Andhrapradesh Christian organizations protested and demanded for separate Christian country out of India. See Nagaland crisis they dont feel themselves as Indians as they wanted to make Nagaland as separate Christian country. One church head in Andhrapradesh said that its ignorance to salute a tricolor national flag made of cloth and he also insulted singer A.R. Rahman for singing Vandemataram song. And there are lot of other incidents too. One pastor gone to tirumala tirupati temple and a made video and mocked Lord Balaji there , he said that it's not God and fake it's an idol and evil and later he was arrested and was released. One pastor said all Hindus will go to hell for sure because of idol worship and lot other incidents too. So prevention is better than cure.
