Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it, I am using a German Hohner HM-36 Professional 36 Melodica. There are many other melodicas in the market. I personally would suggest to find an Eolina or a Vibrandoneon (are similar to the melodicas but made with wood), for a deeper tone, still the one in this video is a basic melodica that I have for more than 20 years, I used it to experiment overdubbing with my piano comping. It was a fun experiment, I am glad you liked it.

I absolutely love your playing on this tune so much, you are the best melodica player I've found on KZbin. I have an Excalibur 37 that I've only had a year or so and it's gotten all rusty and oxidized really fast even after always blowing out thru spit hole, thinking the Hohner HM 36 Pro now instead. Am considering buying a melodica, but a little put-off by the rasping quality of the sound on some demos. Now I know they can be played sensitively, and with due regard to dynamics.

EnvyOfVega There are some melodicas with a key/button at the bottom, when pressed repeadilly, will make the vibrato effect.

Actually that's the moisture release valve. You should modulate the strength of your breath to accomplish tremolo.

Alex Hoteck I know that at least with certain melodicas, you can create vibrato by altering the pressure you put on the key/keys.
