The dialogue is said by a character in the film. Why do we take things to heart? No doubt Rafi saab was a legend. This dialogue will not make him a lessor singer or disrespect his work. The reality is Rafi saab did sing many sad songs perhaps more than any other playback singer of his time. In his era it was cool to indulge in self pity and hence so many such songs. Free country people can have views. Character in this movie expressed hers. lets move on. I am sure if Rafi saab was alive today he would not have minded at all.
