I think the thing I appreciate most about these ministers is their thirst for Christ, translated in their worship. I've visited the prayer room on two separate occasions and had the privilege of sitting in Jon's worship sets. And seeing him around on the grounds- what was apparent is his humble disposition (servant leadership) and focus on Christ receiving glory. THAT is how you get qualified to be used in these ways by our God. To Him Be All The Glory!

God has used this song to change my life in a way I have never thought or understood. This song, you guys are really annointed. May God keep you. 8 years later and I am broken and restored by God through this song! I play it almost everyday - its my LockDown song. I'm stunned at the lyrics and how God can use people from across the globe at a different time in some worship service to heal me so much. I am sooooo grateful for it! Deeply touched. Thank you! Lord knew how connected I was with worldly music but I "simply" dropped ALL of the worldly music and replaced it for the traditional Gospel music which to me was a BIG sacrifice; didn't enjoy it MUCH tbh. All this so I could find Him. I like Gospel! But I always thought "There has got to be something MORE than this Lord?!" THEN BANG! BETHEL CHURCH, ISRAEL HOUGHTON, MISTY EDWARDS, JAYE THOMAS + MORE... and NOW THURLOW! It's been a year+.. He is still leading me to MORE! TRUST JESUS AND FOLLOW!X

The same things has happened to me. I started to stop listening to worldly music in my home and turned to gospel music for about one year and then god lead me into this kind of worship music and I find it's much deeper, with Godf, ay? Thanks to God, sister.. Jesus loves us!

Did it come out spontaneously during a set a long while back?

I've been working on it! :) I've always played the piano, -- and then lost touch with playing and started singing when I went to ihop-kc. I've recorded some songs in semi-pro...not so pro basement recording studios lol :) It's expensive to get a great quality sound! :) But I'm working on it!! :D I'll probably just post some little recordings on youtube for a while until I can compile enough recorded songs :) ~~" I love your ministry" song was a spontaneous song mostly from James Kufeldt,- Jon threw in a few things, but that goodie goes to James :)) There were so many good original songs that came from spontaneous choruses 2009-2011,-- we sang about the Fathers love for 2 years straight-- it was like therapy for me :) James would come up with these elaborate choruses one after the other-- the Lord completely anointed him for those songs. They brought such glory to God and healing to the body-- having come from a very conservative background-- I was usually provoked and awed by the level of relationship and understanding James attributed to the Holy Spirit...so the thought of Him doing 'ministry' inside of us...was a fun and tender paradigm for a lot of us :))

Jalise Gutierrez Nice! I would look forward to your recordings. So I Love Your Ministry was spontaneous? That's cool. It's one of my favorites and I always wondered how that song came to be. I wish I could listen back when it was developing in the prayer room. That's exactly how the song first struck me. The thought of Him doing "ministry" was interesting but totally made sense to me. I never heard it in that way but the other lyrics clarifies it even more. And you're so right, so many good original songs came from that period. I discovered Jon Thurlow and his team back in early 2010.

God's word says that He will never leave you or forsake you. Are you spending time with Him communing with Him or has the music taken you away from Him? Anything that takes us away from God has become an Idol, even as a christian if we are not regularly spending time in His word, prayer and worship, even what we may do for Him can become an Idol, because we have placed the gift over the giver of it. I hope this helps, stay in faith. God will draw closer to you as you draw closer to Him.
