Oh yeah they use to terminate on 34th St. Harold square do the track work on the Manhattan bridge then in 1988 they started being moved to the M, Z , L , J lines as the r27a started to be phased out due to the arival of the r68

This reminds me so much of my childhood. I was one of those kids obsessed with Trains Especially subways. Preferably the DC Metro and New York City MTA. Incredible set man . How long did it take you to put everything together? I would have been blown away if the doors actually opened I’m curious to know if there any subway sets that actually have that feature. The D - Line didn’t regularly run slant 40 s .. They had the 40s back in the 70s. When the B-Line had them. The D-Line will borrow 3 slants trains for baseball crowds.

Izzon Buy the trains at a hobby store that has a good selection of trains. This is O gauge so get a starter set first. The Lionel Scout is the cheapest. I'll give you the ones I go to. Trainland/Trainworld,Nassau Hobby,Mario's Trains,Internet Trains,Just Trains of Delaware. These are the people that I deal with. Compare prices because O gauge can be pricey.
