I owe pretty much all my style of jazz guitar playing to Peter Banks, he was so creative and original, it is a sad thing Steve Howe that you never accepted Peter on the Yes Reunion, you should have rose above it, original Yes fans will not thank you for this.

Pete Bank's one of the good guys a true Artist and intervoiter got to know Pete in the later years very genuine and sircire Man RIP Peter Banks.

Still miss the man one year on. He could be the most infuriating guy in the world and yet he could also be the sweetest funniest and kindest man you had ever met. Such a huge talent as well and far more influential than you could ever imagine. God Bless Peter wherever you are. :) x

Peter’s guitar work with Flash - Children of the Universe immediately comes to mind - was brilliant. I spent a lot of time learning that solo when I was a teenager. He was a big influence.

Peter Banks, far better than you think. A key sound in the begining of Yes and so much more as you can tell from this lovely film.

I don't see any this "key sound" in Yes... One of the most overrated musicians in history. He got fired for precisely lack of interest. He skipped rehearsals etc. Clearly he was not at the same level as others of the group.

No image or music of Peter's band Empire in this retrospective? In 2017 Cherry Red issued a nice 3-disc set of Empire's complete recordings; easy to find at a good price and well worth getting for PB fans.
